Terms & Conditions – Journey to Grandmaster

Summary of Key Terms

✔One-Time Purchase + Lifetime Access (Blueprints & Courses) – The 1000 ELO Complete Blueprint, From 1000 to 1500 ELO Complete Blueprint, and 10-Day Opening Mastery are sold as one-time purchases with lifetime access to the program content (minimum 5-year availability guarantee from purchase date).

✔Optional Academy Bonus: Free Month (Optional Subscription) – Eligible purchases include the option to activate Academy live coaching with a free first month ($0). After the free month, Academy continues at €99/month for customers located in the EU and $99/month for customers outside the EU, unless canceled.

✔Cancel Anytime (Academy) – You can cancel Academy anytime by emailing support@journeytograndmaster.com. Access continues until the end of the current billing period (or until the end of the free month if you cancel during the free month).

✔14-Day 100% Money-Back Guarantee (Conditions) – The 14-day guarantee applies to paid programs and courses except the PGN file add-on (non-refundable). To be eligible, you must (1) activate the free month of Academy and (2) attend at least one Live Lesson during your 14-day refund window. If no Live Lesson happens in your 14-day window, the attendance requirement is waived.

✔Free 1-on-1 Lesson (Academy – Second Month) – All active Academy subscriptions include one free 1-on-1 lesson available in your second month of subscription (see Section 3.5).

✔Free Resources = Agreement to Receive Emails – If you sign up for a free resource (including the Pre-Game Checklist or 30-Day Training Plan), you agree to receive emails from Journey to Grandmaster. You can unsubscribe anytime.

✔No Account Sharing – Unauthorized access may lead to suspension.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

1. General Terms

These Terms apply to all products and services offered by Journey to Grandmaster, including:

1000 ELO Complete Blueprint (one-time purchase)
From 1000 to 1500 ELO Complete Blueprint (one-time purchase)
10-Day Opening Mastery (one-time purchase)
Academy Live Coaching (optional subscription, when activated)
Pre-Game Checklist (free resource)
30-Day Training Plan (free course)

2. One-Time Purchase Programs

2.1 Included Products

One-time purchase programs include:

1000 ELO Complete Blueprint
From 1000 to 1500 ELO Complete Blueprint
10-Day Opening Mastery

2.2 Access & Lifetime Policy

One-time purchases include “lifetime access” to the purchased program content.

Lifetime access guarantee: We guarantee at least 5 years of availability from your purchase date. Continued access may remain available beyond 5 years as long as the platform remains operational.

2.3 Optional Academy Bonus (Free Month Activation)

Eligible purchases include the option to activate Academy live coaching with a free first month ($0). Academy is optional and requires activation.

Optional activation: If you do not activate Academy, no Academy subscription is started and you will not be billed for Academy.
Auto-renewal after free month: If you activate Academy, it continues after the free month at €99/month (EU) or $99/month (outside EU) unless canceled.

3. Academy Live Coaching (Optional Subscription)

3.1 What Academy Includes

Academy may include weekly live lessons, lesson replays, and community access while your Academy subscription is active.

3.2 Billing & Currency

If you activate Academy, your first month is free. After the free month, Academy continues at €99/month for customers located in the EU and $99/month for customers outside the EU, unless canceled.

The applicable currency is determined by your location/billing country at the time of subscription.

3.3 Cancellation Policy

You can cancel Academy anytime by emailing support@journeytograndmaster.com. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

If you cancel during the free month, your access continues until the end of the free month and you will not be charged for the next month.

3.4 Academy Access vs. Course Access

Canceling Academy ends access to live lessons, new replays, and community support at the end of your billing period.

Your one-time purchase course access (Blueprint/Openings course) remains available according to the lifetime policy in Section 2.2.

3.5 Free 1-on-1 Lesson (Second Month)

All active Academy subscriptions include one free 1-on-1 lesson available in your second month of subscription (“Lesson”).

Eligibility: You must have an active Academy subscription in your second month (i.e., the second billing cycle has started).
Limit: One Lesson per customer/subscription account.
Scheduling: The Lesson is scheduled based on availability. Details for booking are provided to eligible subscribers.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 14-Day 100% Money-Back Guarantee (Programs & Courses)

The 14-day guarantee applies to paid programs and courses except the PGN file add-on (non-refundable).

Eligibility conditions: To request a refund, you must:

(1) Activate the free month of Academy, and
(2) Attend at least one Live Lesson within the 14-day refund window.

Waiver: If no Live Lesson occurs during your 14-day refund window, the lesson-attendance requirement is waived.

Timing: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of your purchase date by emailing support@journeytograndmaster.com. Requests after 14 days are not accepted.

4.2 Academy Subscription Charges

Academy is optional and can be canceled anytime. If you cancel during the free month, you will not be charged for the next month.

5. Free Resources (Email Sign-Up)

5.1 Included Free Resources

We may offer free resources that require an email sign-up, including:

Pre-Game Checklist (free lead magnet)
30-Day Training Plan (free course)

5.2 Email Consent

By signing up for a free resource, you agree to receive emails from Journey to Grandmaster (such as the resource delivery, reminders, training emails, and occasional product updates).

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

6. Intellectual Property

All content belongs to Journey to Grandmaster. Redistribution is prohibited.

Account Sharing

Sharing accounts may lead to suspension without refund.

7. Privacy & Data

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Payments are processed securely by third-party providers; credit card data is not stored.

8. Liability & Disclaimers

No guarantee of specific rating results. Improvement depends on personal effort.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability.

9. Legal Information

9.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany (jurisdiction: Bayern).

9.2 Updates

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use = acceptance.
